Hermanus, a world-renowned South African coastal city, lived up to its name on this incredible 1-day tour.
Our journey began with a cozy cup of coffee at the misty and cold Houw Hoek Hotel. It wasn’t exactly the ideal weather to start a tour to Hermanus. But once we arrived in Hermanus, even amidst the rain and chill, the sun greeted us after a hearty breakfast.
What started as a cold and rainy day soon transformed into the perfect shorts and t-shirt weather. We wandered through charming shops, strolled around town, all while eagerly awaiting the majestic whales to make their appearance.
Just after a delightful lunch at a well-known Cave restaurant, a magnificent whale graced the bay, putting on a breathtaking show for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better moment as we relished the sweetness of the day.
The weather shifted from sunny to cool and cloudy, prompting us to make our way back home. Along our journey, we made delightful pit stops at roadside stalls, treating ourselves to freshly baked bread.
Our time spent in Hermanus was truly spectacular, blessed with a glorious sunny day.
